Surprised that it took me two days to put it together, but I took my time. Actually constructed it up side down to keep the top edges level. Looks really good in the garden. Just one comment - build was a little bit flimsy with three screws to connect the panels together, so added extra two on each frame to strengthen the build. Would possibly be better if panels had pre drilled holes and used coach bolts instead.

The Arbour was delivered as directed and the Driver was very helpful and a pleasant person. Some of the edges and joins were a bit rough but a bit of sanding put that right. The roof section is difficult to do and you defiantly need a minimum of two people. Once together it takes three people to move it. It is strong nice to look at and will be painted next year once weathered. Happy with it just what I wanted and more reasonable than other suppliers. Pleased with service and product.

Overall we are very pleased with the Shire Honeysuckle Corner Arbour and would happily buy it again. It is straightforward to assemble; several steps require two people. The roof frame is a little tricky and we added some metal brackets to help; both flat metal plates and right-angle metal brackets. There are a lot of screws and you really do need an electric screwdriver. Before assembly we gave all parts two coats of exterior wood stain; we used 6 litres of paint (8 x 750ml cans). After assembly we used an exterior sealant on the edges of the roof panels (and other places) to make the arbour watertight. The seats and side walls could do with being a couple of inches wider so that standard width cushions fit; we fixed the back-rests a couple of inches higher than the instructions suggested so that our cushions fit the seats and slide underneath the back-rests. We plan to put clear plastic panels over the window openings to keep the rain out; our cats have already started using it as a refuge for the coming winter months. The finished arbour is very heavy; so it needs to be assembled in situ, or get 3 people to lift it.

Great communications and service plus delivery from One Garden, and Shire too when 5 panels arrived damaged they were promptly replaced and one was again damaged so that was replaced by post within 2 days. However, after treating all panels with quality decking oil, it took a few days to erect with silicone suggested and a glue before screwing parts together, but there were still gaps after pulling in the roof panels with many screws and it leaks! Shire have asked for photos to help us amend this problem. Otherwise, nice looking & solid Arbour if we can sort leaks - maybe needs even more silicone inside and out but we would rather the wood have overlapped and sealed itself rather than have to resort to silicone.
