A square-cut sawn wooden cladding, usually set vertically. Pales taper across the width creating a 'feather' profile. Also known as Closeboard.
Description
Featheredge panel fencing provides an ideal boundary fencing solution when a traditional, classic appearance is preferred.
Also known as Closeboard panel fencing, these treated wooden fence panels are 6ft wide and are formed from sawn boards secured to horizontally railed timber framing. These panels offer a consistent structural appearance as the vertical boards are square cut and equally spaced. Each panel is complete with an integral slim capping to the top.
Supplied pre-treated to a superior vacuum pressure treatment process, this wooden panel naturally offers a greater lifespan than the basic dipped version due to the penetrative effect of the preservative. Conveniently delivered direct from the factory, these panels are supplied ready for DIY installation. Fixings are not included.

This is the second batch of fence panels we have bought from one garden. Whilst I’d like an extra trim batten on the edge to stop the panel wobbling in the concrete slotted posts (something I fit before installing) I have to say the ones we bought three years ago are still fine and in place and look good. We regularly get 40mph winds here and these panels are robust enough to stand up to them. Good product, no sign of rot as yet, an improvement would be more vertical side edge battens but at this price I’ll still keep adding my own.
