Description
The Shire Delmora Summerhouse 8x10 is an 8x8 building with a 2ft verandah extending from the front. It would make an impressive and striking feature in your garden.
The walls, roof and floor are all tongue & groove clad for superior strength. The doors, complete with a ring latch, are mortice and tenon jointed and the windows have toughened glass as standard.
The Delmora is supplied flat packed for ease of handling and assembly. All fittings including the roofing felt are included along with easy-to-follow illustrated assembly instructions. When you receive your Delmora Summerhouse it will have been dip-treated during manufacture in a base coat treatment to help protect it during transit.
We would also recommend that, prior to assembly, you treat all wooden parts (both inside and out) with a quality preservative in a colour of your choice, to maintain the manufacturer's warranty.

Impressed by the general appearance of the product and your helpful driver Robert. However had to double up on the floor supports. The floor joist spans where inadequate. Floor boards could also be thicker. Some of the wall panel not square resulting in a few excessive gaps needing to be filled. Wall panel with fixed window had a number of wall strips which where not parallel and would not line up with the adjoining panel. Spoke to your office to determine if the nails could be drilled out. Screws would make it easier to rectify. 3 roof trusses ok. However Roof trusses bent and twisted leaving ridge gaps. The roof panels where of the same hand. This results with fair face edge meeting with groved edge. Therefore more gaps. The most interesting area was the porch roof which when put together just sagged as it had inadequate support. Screwed 2 further timbers together cut opening in front truss and pushed new timber through under the ridge through to the middle truss which enabled the porch to sit true and straight. Was not happy with the roof felt application so just bought a 10m length to enable 3 horizontal pieces to be applied. Once sorted it looks ok. For a small extra expenditure you would have a far better product which would be easier to construct. Can only give 3.5
