A tongue & groove boarding offering a smooth planed finish. Each upper face is shaped with a shallow curve to offer a shiplap, overlapping appearance.
Mineralized Roofing Felt
A garden building roofing felt in its commonest form. Coated externally with small stone flakes or grit to deter the effects of weathering.
Styrene
Styrene, Polycarbonate and Acrylic are all terms for tough, single sheet plastic glazing. Styrene will not shatter like glass, so it is ideal for playhouses.
Key Lock
A common door locking system, which can only opened with the key provided. The design and finish can vary by product.
Description
The Highclere Summerhouse is built from a high quality tongue and groove boarded cladding to the walls and floor.
The front panels feature double doors and full length glazing, with the side walls also having a full length glazed panel too to benefit from the best of the light throughout the day.
The shallow angle, single sloping roof of the Highclere offers plenty of internal headroom, even at the very back.
Mineralized felt is supplied to cover the roof and full instructions, fixtures and fittings are provided as standard.

I waited 4 months to get this summer house but it was worth it. The delivery with just 1 person wasn't very sensible given the weight of the pieces. Thankfully my partner could help. The roofing felt was missing but was quickly resolved & received a couple of days later. The guys who built it for me said it was one of the easiest & best they've built. I love the finished product

For the price we paid this is a very attractive summerhouse so we are pleasantly surprised. However some of the finish on the cut wood was very rough. We would also like to point out that having just one man to deliver a summerhouse is ridiculous. My husband is nearly eighty and felt obliged to help carry the panels rather then leave one delivery man to struggle on his own. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Thank you for your feedback which we shall share with Shire, the manufacturer, who delivered your goods. We sincerely thank your husband for assisting on delivery, although he was under no obligation to do so. To achieve Shire's direct-offload driveway/kerbside delivery service, a 'second man' is deemed an unnecessary expense, ultimately keeping retail pricing lower for the consumer.)

Certainly a value for money and impressive product, eventually. On booking told that summerhouse would be one week as they stated they logged into manufacturer's schedule. So agreed sale. Soon found out from manufacturers of a three week delivery. On delivery driver was on his own and quite irritable. He somehow managed to lift and drag sections some 8 metres. We had to sandpaper exposed edges, move handles as incorrectly fitted and planed one door to fit. Disappointing. Now looks really good.
