Description
The Yardmaster 108GEYZ shed is a member of the popular Yardmaster Emerald Deluxe GEYZ range of metal sheds.
This metal shed benefits from standard features which include rust-free screws, a ventilated and high-gabled profiled roof and free anchor bolt fixings; to secure the shed to your concrete or paved solid base. The double door is of the sliding variety, being complete with handles holed to accept a customer-supplied padlock and an overlapping feature to keep the weather out.
This garden building also comes complete with a steel floor support kit. This kit creates a sturdy metal framework that sits inside the shed to support a floor covering of your choice. Many people choose to use plywood sheets which are easy to obtain from most large DIY stores. An added benefit of using the floor support kit is that it enables you to create a raised, dry floor surface, clear of your concrete base.
This 108GEYZ apex metal shed is supplied in a dark green and zinc painted finish as part of the 7-layer anti-corrosion protection process offered by Yardmaster across their range of quality hot-dipped galvanized buildings. The strong yet neat looking ribbed wall and roof panels are thicker and harder to dent, with folded edges for safe assembly.
Supplied with a DIY assembly manual, the flat-pack components are clearly numbered for self-assembly. A common installation involves screwing the pre-holed metal profiled sheeting to a skeleton-style framework, complete with a base rail.
Yardmaster are Europe's largest manufacturer of maintenance-free metal sheds, which are renown for their 'baked on permanent colour finish'.

Delivery from One Garden was quick and nowhere near the 5 weeks anticipated. Arrived surprisingly in just 3 flat packed boxes. So far so good. Upon unpacking there are an immense number of bits, screws, washers etc along with a number of what look like identical pieces but they’re not. Erecting took me 3 days, I’m a competent Diy’er too so be prepared. The issue I have with this shed is similar to many others the instructions are poor, they contain some errors, graphics are poor and there are no descriptive instructions just images to work from. This is ok but as previous mentioned some parts look identical yet they’re not and when connected as per instructions the holes do not line up for the outer green panels. Shed been up now approx a month with 1” ply flooring down. Discovered the roof is leaking through the overlapping seams which again don’t seem tight enough even when built as per instructions. It’s not leaking badly but with petrol equipment stored in there having water dripping on it not ideal. All screws have washers and are tight so no leaking through them. Looking at solutions now to fix the leaks and not prepared to disassemble the roof. Overall not easy to build looks good when up and solid enough but not without its faults

Great service from One Garden, notifications via email, calls & delivery well managed & in good time. Helpful delivery chap put it around the back of my house where needed. I took my time on this project (having read the reviews) as I knew it would be a big Meccano job, it took over a couple of days single handed except the roof lift when my son helped me. I used a chargeable standard Black & Decker screwdriver but it needed multiple charges. I am glad I made this purchase; it was worth the effort. It now looks great & I know it will last many years hassle-free. I got away with using blocks for a base (due to a sloped garden I didn't want the cost/hassle of a concrete base) combined with the metal grid floor and some tanalised, kiln-dried 45mmx120mm 3.6m timber and Oriented strand board (OSB) for a floor. It's stood the test of some heavy rain, despite good ventilation in apex and sides (don't be put off by the daylight you'll see, it's all covered by sufficient overlaps). It seems rigid & strong considering the flexibility of the delivered panels. The instructions make sense, but take your time to understand & compare them to the actual pieces as they're simplified with the use mainly of diagrams. I made one mistake by using the wrong washers for the roof, not relevant except for aesthetics as I had plenty of spare screws and washers. I drilled a couple of holes as tried to move the shed base slightly to position it better on my timber which put it ever so slightly out of shape early-on, but most holes pulled into line as I screwed the screws in. Very happy.

I erected this onto a concrete base. The assembly diagrams give you all the information needed, there are no written instructions. Have not yet used the floor support kit, just sealed around the base on the inside with acrylic primer. There are videos on Youtube showing a build onto a wooden base, well worth watching. I only needed a second pair of hands to fit the roof.
