Folded Edge

A pair of handles with pre-drilled holes which, when in a closed position, will accept a customers' padlock. Shape and style of handles may vary.

A feature of Yardmaster's sliding doors, where the closing stile profile of each door is shaped to overlap the other to keep out rain and snow.

Description
The Yardmaster 84PZ shed is a member of the Yardmaster Store-All family of compact pent roof metal sheds.
This metal shed benefits from standard features which include rust-free screws, a ventilated profiled roof and free anchor bolt fixings; to secure the shed to your concrete or paved solid base. The double door is of the sliding variety, being complete with handles holed to accept a customer-supplied padlock and an overlapping feature to keep the weather out.
This 84PZ pent metal shed is supplied in a zinc painted finish as part of the 7-layer anti-corrosion protection process offered by Yardmaster across their range of hot-dipped galvanized buildings. The strong yet neat looking ribbed wall and roof panels are thicker and harder to dent, with folded edges for safe assembly.
Supplied with a DIY assembly manual, the flat-pack components are clearly numbered for self-assembly. A common installation involves screwing the pre-holed metal profiled sheeting to a skeleton-style framework, complete with a base rail.
Yardmaster are Europe's largest manufacturer of maintenance-free metal sheds, which are renown for their 'baked on permanent colour finish'.

Fabulous shed. Took some time to put together due to the number of pieces and screws, but all pieces lined up perfectly and the shed looks extremely smart now it is finished. Would be very tricky and much more time-consuming with just one person building, but one builder and one young 'helper' worked brilliantly! Generally very pleased with the metal store/shed. Ordering was very efficient and it was eventually delivered within the given time frame although I did have to push fairly hard to get it delivered as we had planned a holiday after the expected delivery date. Assembly was relatively straight forward although a few of the instructions weren't as clear as they may have been and needed to be studied a few times to understand what was expected. Having finished the assembly it was fairly easy to put the roof in place although had to disassemble a couple of bits to attach the top of the doors!!! Does what we wanted it to do and will be very useful for storing bikes in the garden to free up my 'working' shed.

Product arrived after 10 weeks despite original 6 week order time, I wasn’t kept informed and constantly had to chase up where my order was. Product itself is good and sturdy. Is a real faff to put together, the instructions aren’t great and some of the edges of the metal panels are extremely sharp. Also, Yardmaster hadn’t updated their instructions for new door brace fittings meaning the parts pictured didn’t match the ones I had. I had to contact their customer service to get the updated instructions.

It arrived in one box, which was a surprise. Read the instructions that looked as if a 5 year old had drawn the diagrams, better to have pictures of actual parts not drawings. Model we had was silver gray on outside with the inside a shade or two lighter. This did cause a problem or two in bright sunlight. Could have been solved by stickers stating which way round. We did not encounter any major problems in the building of the shed and it took my wife and I the best part of 8 hours to complete it. We are below average when it comes to diy. Despite the sheets feeling flimsy, the shed is solid enough when completely built. In hindsight I should have bought the flooring option, its built on runners on top of breeze blocks with a plywood floor. It does not measure 8 x 4, the external measurement is 7'3" x 3'3". There are more than enough screws and other fittings. Could do with nuts and bolts the secure the door to the runners, rather than the self tapper screws. Bought some small nuts and bolts to make the door hang more securely. Looks ok and does what we require and we are happy with it.

As a [nearly] 80 year old it took me a while to assemble the shed, the only help required was 5 minutes to lift the roof section into place. The shed is very stable once fully assembled and fixed to the concrete slab foundation with the kit provided. I thoroughly recommend this product, excellent value and fit for the job.[IT'S A SHED] as a earlier reviewer said "you wouldn't keep the crown jewels in it" but it's just the job for my gardening stuff.
