Description
The Yardmaster 1012WGL apex shed is the largest member of the attractive Yardmaster Woodgrain Shiplap WGL range of quality metal sheds.
This metal shed benefits from standard features which include rust-free screws, a ventilated and high-gabled profiled roof and free anchor bolt fixings; to secure the shed to your concrete or paved solid base. In addition, the WGL range also gain the unique benefits of a full 6' eaves height and a woodrain-effect shiplap profile wall cladding. The double door is of the sliding variety, being complete with handles holed to accept a customer-supplied padlock and an overlapping feature to keep the weather out.
This garden building also comes complete with a steel floor support kit. This kit creates a sturdy metal framework that sits inside the shed to support a floor covering of your choice. Many people choose to use plywood sheets which are easy to obtain from most large DIY stores. An added benefit of using the floor support kit is that it enables you to create a raised, dry floor surface, clear of your concrete base.
This 1012WGL apex metal shed is supplied in a two-tone brown finish as part of the 7-layer anti-corrosion protection process offered by Yardmaster across their range of quality hot-dipped galvanized buildings. The shiplap-style profiled cladding adds a traditional touch, whilst remaining thicker and harder to dent than other thin-gauge metal garden sheds. Complete with folded edges for a safer assembly.
Supplied with a DIY assembly manual, the flat-pack components are clearly numbered for self-assembly. A common installation involves screwing the pre-holed metal profiled sheeting to a skeleton-style framework, complete with a base rail.

I purchased a 10” x 12” Yardmaster shed 1012WGL in August and upon arrival I noticed that many panels had sustained damage beyond what could be called acceptable. I made contact with One Garden (who I purchased the shed from) who responded to my emails at least the same day, often within a few hours of me sending them, to resolve the issues I was experiencing. Within very little time a new shed was delivered and the old one uplifted and taken away. One Garden’s customer service is absolutely brilliant .. 5 star! So what about the shed? I would give a rating of 4 out of 5 for the shed. Overall it is the cheapest large sized storage I could find. Metal sheds are prone to condensation although this shed is well ventilated. The finished article looks quite aesthetic too. You will have to chase the odd leak although I found most of my problems originated from not tightening some roof screws enough. That said it is easy to over tighten and round off the thread of a screw if you are not careful. The shed must be erected on a flat level base or you will find panels will not align correctly. The assembly instructions can be tricky to follow at times but there are plenty of Youtube videos to help. Yardmaster was also very helpful in sorting the issues I had with the first shed that was delivered so I would recommend the product / company. One last thing .. This was one of the few sheds that I found that you can stand up inside and has a decent height / width door. Many sheds have very low door entry and roof heights.

The product is of good standard but bit flimsy, also the assembly drawings need to be improved not very clear anybody who's not an engineer or mechanically minded will find it very difficult to assemble this.
