Description
The Yardmaster 106WGL apex shed is a member of the attractive Yardmaster Woodgrain Shiplap WGL range of quality metal sheds.
This metal shed benefits from standard features which include rust-free screws, a ventilated and high-gabled profiled roof and free anchor bolt fixings; to secure the shed to your concrete or paved solid base. In addition, the WGL range also gain the unique benefits of a full 6' eaves height and a woodrain-effect shiplap profile wall cladding. The double door is of the sliding variety, being complete with handles holed to accept a customer-supplied padlock and an overlapping feature to keep the weather out.
This garden building also comes complete with a steel floor support kit. This kit creates a sturdy metal framework that sits inside the shed to support a floor covering of your choice. Many people choose to use plywood sheets which are easy to obtain from most large DIY stores. An added benefit of using the floor support kit is that it enables you to create a raised, dry floor surface, clear of your concrete base.
This 106WGL apex metal shed is supplied in a two-tone brown finish as part of the 7-layer anti-corrosion protection process offered by Yardmaster across their range of quality hot-dipped galvanized buildings. The shiplap-style profiled cladding adds a traditional touch, whilst remaining thicker and harder to dent than other thin-gauge metal garden sheds. Complete with folded edges for a safer assembly.
Supplied with a DIY assembly manual, the flat-pack components are clearly numbered for self-assembly. A common installation involves screwing the pre-holed metal profiled sheeting to a skeleton-style framework, complete with a base rail.

My next door neighbour kindly put this shed up for me. It took him 2 days, with assistance, once the floor had been laid. The paper instructions weren't very clear but thankfully he managed to crack on. I dont know why instructions cant be made clearer. Not sure how waterproof it will be so I've bought some filler stuff to use as well. Delivery wise, it came earlier than stated and the boxes were a bit bashed. Thankfully no damage inside.

Bit disappointed that a lot of the panels were damaged on the edges, required straightening with pliers before they could be fitted and had to be straightened or it would have been impossible to assemble the shed. Otherwise a really useful item and provides ample storage for garden tools etc. The product itself earns 4 stars but as the delivered condition was so poor only gets 3 stars

Really good shed. Instructions are easy to follow but you may need to study them for a while first! Delivered a couple of days late and some of the panels were a little scratched. Not too much of an issue for us, but for the money you might expect a better transit. Our shed is now up and sturdy and we are very pleased with it.

A first class product at a reasonable price. It is not "easy" to build but two competent d.i.y.ers can do the job within or just over the time prescribed. Whilst it is always important to follow the instructions, in this case you have to follow them to the letter, because if you think you have found a short cut, it turns out that you haven't. It wasn't till the end that I realised how much I'd enjoyed the challenge as the shed when built is exactly what I wanted. Well done the designers. GH.
