Oriented Strand Board also known as OSB. Layers of wood flakes set within a glue-like resin, compressed into a solid sheet. Common in sheds.
Mineralized Roofing Felt
A garden building roofing felt in its commonest form. Coated externally with small stone flakes or grit to deter the effects of weathering.
Horticultural Glass
A single sheet of non-toughened standard glass, most often used in garden buildings like summerhouses and sheds.
Padbolt
A sliding metal catch used to secure doors or gates, usually with a holed provision for a padlock (not supplied). Style will vary by product.
Description
This is a double door shed from the Shire range of modular design sheds. The modular design of the Alderney Shed allows you to choose the position of the windowed panel as you build the shed.
The wall panels are constructed of tongue and groove cladding and supplied in modular sections. The main advantage of a modular design is that each individual panel will be small enough (in one or both dimensions) to be carried by one person and will fit through a standard pedestrian door. As a consequence the individual boards may not line up perfectly with those on adjacent panels, due to the variances in the natural timber cladding.
The walls and floor are constructed from a high quality tongue and groove cladding and the roof is formed from solid sheet OSB panels. Felt is provided for the roof covering. Fixtures and fittings come as standard as do full instructions.

Shed ok for the money replace a near identical one, just put osb/ply on the floor to protect it. But one bad thing was nothing to brace the middle which is not good at all had to make my own, could do with a proper brace across

Very pleased with shed. Quality was good. No parts missing. Good clear instruction book. Pleased that opening window had glass rather than some form of plastic. Would like to have had larger door bolts.(I am 80 and found them small and fiddling to put on and use). Also pleased to find the roofing felt came already cut to size. I did use slightly larger felt nails than supplied which I felt were too small, especially at corners and over lap areas.
