Pressure Treatment

A tongue & groove boarding offering a smooth planed finish. Each upper face is shaped with a shallow curve to offer a shiplap, overlapping appearance.
OSB (Oriented Strand Board)
Oriented Strand Board also known as OSB. Layers of wood flakes set within a glue-like resin, compressed into a solid sheet. Common in sheds.
Mineralized Roofing Felt
A garden building roofing felt in its commonest form. Coated externally with small stone flakes or grit to deter the effects of weathering.

Description
The modular nature of the Shire Jersey Pressure Treated Shed allows each individual piece to be taken through a standard pedestrian door (78 inches or 1.9m tall), making the shed ideal for mid-terrace houses with a need for lots of garden storage.
Modular buildings also allow the windowed side panels to be placed in a number of different positions and on either side of the shed to take advantage of the available light in your garden.
The wall panels are constructed of tongue and groove cladding and supplied in modular sections. The main advantage of a modular design is that each individual panel will be small enough (in one or both dimensions) to be carried by one person and will fit through a standard pedestrian door. As a consequence the individual boards may not line up perfectly with those on adjacent panels, due to the variances in the natural timber cladding.
The walls and floor are made from tongue and groove and the roof panels will be a solid sheet OSB. Mineralized roofing felt is supplied as standard, along with instructions and all the fixtures and fittings required to install the shed.
The Jersey Pressure Treated Shed includes tongue and groove cladding which has been protected by exposure to a vacuum pressure treatment process. This beneficial process impregnates the timber with preservative, enhancing its lifespan and resistance to rot over that of a typical dip-treated wooden shed.
