A steel hasp and staple is used to secure wooden gates. Interlocked when closed and securable by a padlock (not supplied). Style can vary.
Description
The Shire Overlap Garden Shed 10x8 No Windows is part of a range of apex roof sheds made from kiln-dried timber, making them much more resistant to warping.
They feature 34x34mm thickness framing that is usually reserved for more expensive tongue and groove buildings.
Each of these Overlap sheds have a higher eaves height when compared to the equivalent size, regular overlap buildings allowing more headroom inside the shed.
This 10x8 wooden garden shed is produced to a no-windows design, being fully boarded to all sides to offer enhanced security and privacy for its contents.
The roof and floor are formed from a solid sheet boarding, again on a 34x34mm framing.
The wall panels are constructed of overlap cladding and supplied in modular sections. As a consequence the individual boards may not line up perfectly with those on adjacent panels, due to the variences in the natural timber cladding.
Access is provided by a handy wide double door, complete with a hasp and staple (customer to supply padlock).

This shed is now erected quite pleased with the whole thing. But the fittings do let it down. These are the cheapest you can buy. Thin and easiest to bend and one of the hinges is rusting already. I’m sure with a little thought these fittings can be improved. Didn’t even use the hasp and shackle bought another stronger one.

Not the best quality but I guess you get what you pay for. Delivery Driver was terrible. Told my wife she had to unload the shed from the truck. Then refused to unload on to driveway. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Your comments relating to the manufacturer's driver have been investigated. The manufacturer's records detail a misinterpretation on arrival. The driver was always to unload, as they should, never your Wife. The confusion arose over the unloading location (not the physical action) under the 'kerbside or driveway' delivery service. Ultimately, delivery was successfully performed. Please accept our apologies for any concerns caused by the driver's comminications on arrival.)
