Attributes
10 Year Anti-Rot Warranty
An assurance from the manufacturer that their timber product, if maintained according to their policy, will resist rot within a 10 year period.
Sustainably Sourced Timber
The timber used for this product was obtained from a managed resource, where responsible forest management and re-planting are employed.
Untreated
No form of preservative treatment has occurred. To maintain the timber's lifespan a preservative should be applied at the earliest opportunity.
Interlocking Log
Interlocking, tongue and groove logs, notched to 'lock' together where they cross. Common in Log Cabin construction.
Mineralized Roofing Felt
A garden building roofing felt in its commonest form. Coated externally with small stone flakes or grit to deter the effects of weathering.
Styrene
Styrene, Polycarbonate and Acrylic are all terms for tough, single sheet plastic glazing. Styrene will not shatter like glass, so it is ideal for playhouses.
Key Lock
A common door locking system, which can only opened with the key provided. The design and finish can vary by product.
Description
The 3m x 2.5m Mercia Log Cabin is a stylish, contemporary and practical design that would look great in all styles of garden. Featuring floor to ceiling windows to the front and a side, this building floods with an abundance of light, and becomes a vibrant and welcoming space for you to enjoy. Perfect as a hobby room, a reading room or simply somewhere to relax and enjoy the views of your garden. The windows throughout the cabin are glazed with shatterproof Styrene which is an essential if you have young children around or a busy garden. This contemporary log cabin is constructed using high quality, 19mm, Baltic pine log boards that interlock each other to form rigid and strong panels. The interlocking system creates a weatherproof and heat retaining structure, meaning you can use this log cabin all year around! The roof and floor are constructed with hard-wearing tongue and groove boards to form a robust and long lasting finish. A Styrene glazed single door is supplied with a lock and key, to ensure you can lock your belongings safely away. High quality roofing felt is provided to protect your log cabin from the elements and prevent the build-up of rain water. This log cabin is made using only ethically sourced, FSC® certified timber and is made here in the UK by a highly skilled team. The cabin is supplied untreated and will require a coat of high quality timber treatment once installed. The log cabin will be delivered as individual tongue and groove timber lengths and should be constructed on a firm and level base.
