Attributes
10 Year Anti-Rot Warranty
An assurance from the manufacturer that their timber product, if maintained according to their policy, will resist rot within a 10 year period.
Sustainably Sourced Timber
The timber used for this product was obtained from a managed resource, where responsible forest management and re-planting are employed.
Untreated
No form of preservative treatment has occurred. To maintain the timber's lifespan a preservative should be applied at the earliest opportunity.
Interlocking Log
Interlocking, tongue and groove logs, notched to 'lock' together where they cross. Common in Log Cabin construction.
Mineralized Roofing Felt
A garden building roofing felt in its commonest form. Coated externally with small stone flakes or grit to deter the effects of weathering.
Styrene
Styrene, Polycarbonate and Acrylic are all terms for tough, single sheet plastic glazing. Styrene will not shatter like glass, so it is ideal for playhouses.
Key Lock
A common door locking system, which can only opened with the key provided. The design and finish can vary by product.
Description
The Mercia 3.3m x 3m Log Cabin is perfect if you’re looking to create a space within your garden to use as a home office, a hobby room or simply somewhere to relax. The simple and open plan design will help you maximise the interior space and provide the perfect place to unwind. Featuring large opening windows that allow natural light to flood the space, the building boasts a bright and airy interior. The glazing on this cabin is made using high strength Styrene, a safe and shatterproof material that has the visual appearance of traditional glass glazing. Constructed using 19mm thick Baltic pine log boards, that lock together to form strong and robust sides. The interlocking system creates a waterproof finish and is designed to retain heat, allowing you to use your log cabin in all seasons! The roof and floor are constructed using hard-wearing tongue and groove boards that interlock, to create strong and robust panels. High quality roofing felt is supplied as standard to give your building added protection against the elements and increase the longevity. This cabin is designed with large double doors that provide easy access and a welcoming entrance. A secure lock and key are supplied, so you can lock your building and belongings safely away. This log cabin is made using only ethically sourced, FSC® certified timber and is made here in the UK by a highly skilled team. The log cabin is supplied untreated and will require a coat of high quality timber treatment once installed. The cabin will be delivered as individual tongue and groove timber lengths and should be constructed on a firm and level base.
