Attributes
10 Year Anti-Rot Warranty
An assurance from the manufacturer that their timber product, if maintained according to their policy, will resist rot within a 10 year period.
Sustainably Sourced Timber
The timber used for this product was obtained from a managed resource, where responsible forest management and re-planting are employed.
Untreated
No form of preservative treatment has occurred. To maintain the timber's lifespan a preservative should be applied at the earliest opportunity.
Interlocking Log
Interlocking, tongue and groove logs, notched to 'lock' together where they cross. Common in Log Cabin construction.
Mineralized Roofing Felt
A garden building roofing felt in its commonest form. Coated externally with small stone flakes or grit to deter the effects of weathering.
Styrene
Styrene, Polycarbonate and Acrylic are all terms for tough, single sheet plastic glazing. Styrene will not shatter like glass, so it is ideal for playhouses.
Key Lock
A common door locking system, which can only opened with the key provided. The design and finish can vary by product.
Description
The 4m x 3m Mercia Log Cabin offers stylish, traditional features paired with a contemporary open plan living area. Perfect as a home office, a place to entertain guests or simply an area to relax and unwind.
This log cabin has been designed to maximise the living space of your home while allowing you to make the most of the outdoor space. Large, Styrene glazed windows are fitted to the front and a side, providing panoramic views of the garden for you to enjoy.
This log cabin is constructed using high quality, 19mm, Baltic pine log boards that interlock with each other. The interlocking system forms a tight seal, preventing water ingress and keeping draughts firmly at bay, while maintaining a robust and heat retaining structure. The roof and floor are formed using hard-wearing tongue and groove boards that lock together to create a strong and robust build, perfect for frequently used buildings.
High quality roofing felt is supplied as standard, to protect your building from the elements and to increase its longevity. Featuring large double doors, complete with a lock and key, this cabin has an easy and welcoming access. This log cabin is made using only ethically sourced, FSC® certified timber and is made here in the UK by a highly skilled team.
This cabin is supplied untreated and will require a coat of high quality timber treatment once installed. The log cabin will be delivered as individual tongue and groove timber lengths and should be constructed on a firm and level base.
