Description
Each Shire Pine Lodge log cabin is an inspiration harnessing natures finest, to create an individual atmosphere to each building. With an unrivalled reputation for quality of product and service, Shire use only selected high quality materials from proven sustainable sources throughout the construction of their log cabins. Shire proudly design and manufacture the Pine Lodge range at their own dedicated UK factory.
The Shire Glenmore Log Cabin is a traditionally shaped log cabin. The double doors are offset in the 10ft front gable with a window opposite. The front gable can be installed either way around allowing the door to be located on the left or right of the panel.
The Glenmore range of log cabins also features a 1.2m (approx. 3ft 11in) deep, full width roof canopy extending from the front. All windows and external doors include a draught seal system to prevent draughts when closed.
While the floor bearers are pressure treated, the wall timbers are supplied untreated so it is recommended to apply a coat of treatment to your cabin once installed in order to help retain the look of your cabin for many years to come.
The wall timbers of a log cabin do not need screwing or pinning together (unless stated in the instructions). They are designed to slot together and be able to expand and contract naturally over time and throughout the seasons.
