A simple cladding method where square-cut boarding is secured in a solid butted or open slatted format to a parallel arrangement.
Half Lap
Strong timber construction method featuring interlocking butt joints. Typically interlocking at the corners for max. strength against warping.
Styrene
Styrene, Polycarbonate and Acrylic are all terms for tough, single sheet plastic glazing. Styrene will not shatter like glass, so it is ideal for playhouses.

A low-level wooden cold frame with pair of hinged, clear plastic lids.
As an added feature, this cold frame is also compatible with the Zest Raised Herb Bed. It can be placed directly on top, converting this herb bed into a tabletop cold frame with storage shelf. The Zest Raised Herb Bed is sold separately.

STURDY AND WELL BUILT. . HOWEVER, THE DESIGN NEEDS TO HAVE A CENTRAL SUPPORT AS THE INDIVIDUAL LIDS SAG IN THE MIDDLE .. I HAVE USED A WOODEN SUPPORT.
