Sustainably Sourced Timber
The timber used for this product was obtained from a managed resource, where responsible forest management and re-planting are employed.
Pressure Treatment
Wood is placed into an airtight tank, by vacuum the air is replaced with preservative. This superior process extends lifespan allowing in-ground use.
Tongue and Groove
Wooden boards interlocked together with ridges (tongues) and slots (grooves). This cladding is hardwearing and more resilient against warping.
Trellis
An open cladding formed from timber rails or battens fixed to one another, in a spaced diagonal or square arrangement. Ideal for decorative purposes.
Description
The Zest York Planter (formerly the Oxford Planter) is made out of high quality pressure treated soft wood timber and designed to be a distinctive feature for any garden.
The unique design incorporates a diamond trellis back panel ideal for climbing plants and a steady base for planting.
The Zest York Planter is a 1.80m wide planter with integrated rear trellis section. Made entirely of pressure treated timber for a long lifespan. The rear panel has an attractive curved top.
While being designed as a free-standing planter, the rear trellis also allows it to be secured to a wall or fence for added stability. Delivered flat packed in easy to assemble sections, including a floor.

Bought two of these planters and I must say that I am really pleased with the quality of them. Delivery arrived on time and the delivery men could not have been more helpful. They dropped off the two huge boxes approximately six foot square each. To say that I was slightly nervous as I opened the first box is a little bit understated. I thought that it was going to be a nightmare to build but was surprised to see only 5 pieces to join together as the trellis back comes in a single piece. The wood is of good quality and the instructions were pretty simple to follow. Built the first one in 30 minutes and the second one in 15 minutes on my own. They look absolutely stunning in the garden and my wife and I could not be more pleased. If you are looking for a large sturdy planter then look no further, you will not be disappointed.

I had one small fault with one of the pre drilled screw holes not being in the correct position. Nothing much, but at the price charged everything should be spot on. I would have given 5 if I hadn't had to get my drill out to finish constructing the planter.
