  Very nice Arbour. The only issue was that there were no pre drilled holes as stated in the instructions. This made assembly very difficult. (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: Due to the pressure treated timber having a high moisture content and prone to movement during supply/seasoning, Zest products are not supplied with pre-drilled screw holes, only pre-formed bolt holes which can allow tolerance. The instructions state the customer is to pre-drill screw holes (a pilot hole) themselves when they present the components using a 3mm drill bit (a bradawl will do also) to reduce expansion and splitting.)

  It is now finished and erected, looks nice but had a couple of problems. Delivered on time and in several polythene covered packs which was good. All parts were there plus instructions but downloaded some more as larger format was better. For the not so expert DIY the immediate problem is there were no pre-drilled holes to select correct place for screws as in instructions, spoke to their technical dept. but not very helpful, put the screws where you thought they should be, they said!! As a frequent DIY'er not too much of a problem but took longer than necessary. On completion very sturdy and upright. Very hot weather soon showed some sections of wood were skimped so gaps appeared, had to use mastic filler prior to painting with water based fence paint. Roof was the worst, but since we probably won't sit out in the rain will live with it. Overall it looks good and secure but not sure whether value for money hence only 3 stars.

  Excellent product warranting 5 stars for quality and I wont reduce that because of these minor irritations!! First, the initial instructions are not clear as to where the first (front) and second (rear) panels are fixed. The pictures could be better in close up and would save some words. Also, there are no pilot holes as indicated in the instructions and finally a couple of places could done with a bit more "finishing". A bit of sandpaper would not have come amiss. As a reasonably competent diy'er these things did not cause me a problem, but for others they may have experienced some issues. But as previously mentioned a great product, which looks great when painted. (Paint everything before assembly!!) (ONE GARDEN COMMENT: The screw pilot holes are to be undertaken by the customer as per the instructions, using a 3mm drill bit (or a bradawl) as described. With external pressure treated timber having an initial high moisture content and prone to settlement/movement, the pilot holes should be formed on install to avoid misalignment.)

However, having reported this back to the sales team, it was collected within two days and the correct one delivered about two- three days after that. The storage box does let in water as the slats of the seat area and the front of the box are not tongue and grooved together.   I'm pleased with it, now its up, and my friends have admired it. But when it was delivered I was a little disappointed as the wood was damp, looked a little 'unfinished" and 3 pieces had cracks in. Having said that, once I contacted one garden, they explained the dampness was probably down to the wood being impregnated with preservative, and they immediately sent 3 new panels without question. So top marks for customer service. Finally - I would not have been able to put this up myself, as there are no screw holes marked or drilled. The instructions were good, but you definitely need an element of DIY skills. so only buy it if you can do it, or know someone who can. It is not like an cupboard flat pack.

  Should have come in 3 boxes, only 2 delivered, delivery companies error. I was told to open the boxes and work out what parts were missing. This I did and eventually the missing box arrived. The fixings were missing couldn't be bothered going through the hassle of contacting the supplier again so I bought some screws. Erecting the arbour isn't too difficult but the roof isn't the easiest to get right, ended up fitting a couple of brackets to make it more rigid. Apart from that it looks pretty good.

Despite it stating that 2 people would be required to erect it, i handled it myself with ease. I would say however that the bottom storage box isn't waterproof neither is the roof. I was required to use exterior wood filler in several places due to the wood being split and water dripping through.
