  Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and it looks great in it's location but it hasn't been entirely problem free. The instructions tell you to fit the front panel before fitting the bottom of the box but it's impossible to do in this order. I had to remove the front panel in order to fit the bottom. I found the back rest to be very uncomfortable and I ended up by removing it and using the seat cushion as a back rest instead. I pressed an old camping mat into service as a seat cushion and the result is marvellous. Plus I have the surplus timber from the back rest to use for another project.

  I cannot rate this anything above average. Wood poor quality, some pieces were split upon unpacking. No pre-drilled holes, or even a mark for where to drill them yourself. We had to add extra screws for stability. I suppose you get what you pay for, and this wasn't expensive, especially as it came with a free cushion....although the wrong colour was sent. Only time will tell if this remains rot free for ten years.

  Bought online. Arrived as stated. On unpacking three panels had split at the corners. This was remedied with wood glue and some G clamps. This product has no pre holed panels so be prepared to use a drill. The instructions where fairly easy to comprehend and came with pictures of the steps to be taken. My only gripe was the pictures being in black and white. This made the steps less clear, especially for lining up panels exactly as shown and some of the sentencing made the instructions a bit vague. The back rest for the seated area was badly warped, so much so that the back rest was at least an inch and a half out of alignment. Overall a simple structure to build. Built with no assistance but I would definitely agree with instructions, to use two people due to having to line up panels for drilling and screwing in screws.

  Was extremely disappointed to find some of the boxes containing the arbour were wet which had affected some of the wood. One section was completely cracked and a section had broken away - was going to demand a refund and arrange for it to be collected but the handyman who put it together assured me he could fix it and he did - brilliantly. The arbour itself is great to look at and comfortable to sit at. Looks lovely in the garden. The seat is difficult to lift up to get to the storage area but will try and make it easier by rubbing wax onto it.
