Shiplap Tongue & Groove
A tongue & groove boarding offering a smooth planed finish. Each upper face is shaped with a shallow curve to offer a shiplap, overlapping appearance.
Styrene
Styrene, Polycarbonate and Acrylic are all terms for tough, single sheet plastic glazing. Styrene will not shatter like glass, so it is ideal for playhouses.
Roller Catch
A simple, push-to-close door retaining catch. Often used on wooden playhouses as a non-locking safety feature. Style and design may vary by product.
Description
The Shire Wigwam Playhouse is styled to look like a classic Native American tepee tent. They were traditionally constructed using sticks and animal skins, but this modern version uses wooden tongue and groove boarding instead, but it still retains the overall style.
Supplied dip-treated with a basecoat treatment only, it will allow you to paint it as you wish upon construction. The Wigwam Playhouse is made from a smooth finished, tongue and groove cladding to the walls and floor. Safety hinges are provided to prevent little fingers from becoming trapped.
The glazing is made from a safety styrene, a tough plastic that does not shatter like glass when broken. Full instructions will be supplied upon delivery, along with all the fixtures and fittings needed to install this wooden playhouse.
